Join us for the Reel Resistance Showcase, where activism meets art on the big screen. Experience the premiere of powerful films like Plan C, The Pride/Prom - The Warhol Creative, Crystal: A Story of a Girl from Texas, Edge of Nature, and more! These captivating stories highlight courage, resilience, and the power of standing up for what’s right in challenging times.

But it doesn't stop there! We invite you to a special live stream conversation with some of our visionary directors. Together, we’ll discuss the vital role of storytelling in the age of extremism in U.S. politics and how films can inspire change, amplify marginalized voices, and build a collective vision for a better future.

Let’s come together, celebrate these groundbreaking works, and welcome everyone to the movement. Whether you're a storyteller, a dreamer, or just looking to make a difference, the Reel Resistance Showcase is for you!

The story follows Betty Jo-Ann Austin, as the lead. She wakes up trapped in a nightmare, navigating the 1800s, 1920s, and 1950s—eras that represent societal struggles for women. In the end, her mother finds her sleepwalking, her mouth sealed shut, a haunting metaphor for silenced voices. The mother takes the girl’s hand and leads her forward, symbolizing our role in uplifting young girls and forging a brighter, more hopeful future.
