It's told through the prism of what was one of the longest-running small businesses there: The Petal Pusher. It was a flower shop, with several strategically located kiosks, that served the daily crush of commuters, especially on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. The film is a reflection on the economics of love (and desperation), and it's a testament to a bygone era — before recent construction transformed the station into a kind of mall filled with chain stores. At its heart, this is a story about love, loss, and family. Artist James Magee spent over forty years building installations in the West Texas desert, in El Paso. Often working alone or with one assistant, Magee constructed four stone buildings in the shape of an equidistant cross, containing his large steel-and-glass sculptures. JAMES MAGEE AND THE HILL takes the viewer to the artist’s studio and to The Hill, which he worked on until his death in 2024.Magee and The Hill have been profiled in The New York Times and several international art magazines. Narrated entirely in French, L'amoureux explores the neighbor's longing for the intimacy she once audibly experienced in the adjacent apartment. It serves as poetic proof that love can be felt in the wake of absence and that distance truly does make the heart grow fonder.

Ten years ago, Lily spent a summer in Paris and met Thomas. Together, they made a promise, and today is the day to keep it. DIRECTOR’S STATEMENTBased on a real story, The Promise is about what happens when you keep a promise you made to a younger version of yourself. Ten years later, two people sit across a screen and measure the distance between who they were and who they became. The choices they made, the ones they didn’t. Shot on 16mm through a real FaceTime call, with Stéphanie Suganami (Opus, Group Chat) in Los Angeles and Pablo Pauly (The French Dispatch) in Paris, the distance between them was never staged. Two people, two time zones, actually looking at each other. That felt like the only honest way to tell this story. For me, in Paris, and for her, somewhere in LA.
