Long Away (2025)

Victoria travels 25 years into her own past to meet a man she barely remembers - her father - and hopes he will love her for who she is... Written and directed by Tilly and Susan Bridges, this trans grounded sci-fi film is based on a comic they wrote about memory and love.

Directors Statement

"Long Away" is a film about connection, love, and hope. We didn't set out to shoot this film on Trans Day of Visibility, but that's exactly what happened. We didn’t set out to release this film when trans rights are so under attack worldwide, but that’s exactly what happened. And honestly we're so glad for both of those things, because it couldn't be more meaningful, given the state of things. Because trans art is resistance. It's more important than ever to stand up and say we're here, we're not going anywhere, and our stories matter.
