Join us for a collection of films focused on finding reverence, resiliency, and hope for the future. From backyard hummingbirds to groundbreaking laboratory science, these films reflect on both the consequences of our history and the diversity of ways we are finding the path forward. The block features intimate portraits of citizen scientists, conservationists, and indigenous communities, highlighting their efforts to understand, protect, and coexist with nature in various environments.

After serving in the Vietnam War, author and naturalist Doug Peacock spent years alone in the Wyoming and Montana wilderness observing grizzly bears. His time in the wild changed the course of his life. With the protection of Yellowstone grizzlies now under threat, Peacock reflects on the importance of habitat and why he continues to fight for wild causes.
