In early 2026, SAFF launched its own filmmaking competition, partnering with schools to inspire and nurture a new generation of filmmakers. And this initiative wasn’t limited to Canada. We’re delighted to showcase four short films created by the next generation of talented young filmmakers from across the globe.

The filmmakers chose Temaiken as the protagonist of their film because they wanted to capture its unique approach to raising awareness about endangered animals while also showcasing its essential role in species conservation in Argentina.

The inviting nature of the park provides a visually engaging setting and many opportunities to spread awareness of environmental issues, as well as highlighting the work of those dedicated to protecting wildlife.

In this short, the young storytellers seek to go beyond simply presenting information, allowing them to create an emotional connection with their audience and inspire greater understanding and interest in conservation.
