The Spectacular Stanley finds himself at both a personal and professional crossroads when his longtime girlfriend (and assistant): Carolina, leaves him. Without an assistant his magic act is destined to fail, and his local night club is on the verge of cutting him off. That's when Stanley meets Marie, a mime, who offers to help Stanley save his act. The two are forced to reckon with a severe communication barrier, old flames, and surfacing romantic feelings in order to save their act.
