When Vancouver personal injury attorney, Stephen Herman, hit the fabulous fifties, he realized retirement was sneaking upon him. Herman's mom hit the retirement button too soon, and it sent her health on a wild rollercoaster of anxiety and depression. “She lost her purpose and passion!” Herman laments. Searching high and low for guidance on how to gracefully exit the legal stage, he found plenty of financial tips but nothing on the psychological and emotional and experiences of leaving the life of law behind.
