all my friends - Lovpune (Official Music Video) (2024)
This song & music video is about the artist "Lovpune" moving to New York and finally finding her chosen family. Growing up in a conservative town in Texas made it very hard for her to find herself. The music video is meant to show how happy and at peace she feels as she realizes how beautiful it is too have queer friendship. Something she's never experienced before. It's based on a true story of real life locations, with memories of being with her friends. I think a lot of queer music videos are about romantic love but we so often forget about the love we have for our queer friends and that's what this music video shows.

Director Biography - Law Artis

Law Artis is a NJ born and raised filmmaker currently based in NYC. Law is a proud military veteran, performing arts graduate and currently holds a MFA in Creative Writing and MPS in Film Directing. Law loves watching social media, reality tv, and film. He has worked on a variety of short films and various theatre art pieces. He has directed over ten micro shorts, but is premiering his first proof of concept short film, “Law’s World : Lipstick Bandit” in this upcoming season. His ultimate goal is to direct and star in his own film series and to continue to make dope art for many decades.

Director Statement

I directed, “ Law’s World : Lipstick Bandit” because you sometimes have to take your own dreams in your own hands. There was a pastor that prophesied to me many years ago that I would write and direct my own things. I thought to myself that is not me. I am just an entertainer. It wasn’t until the pandemic that I started to think of an idea I had on a bus in NYC. I wanted to write a comedy film series about my relationship with women of color. Women of color have always been the majority of my village that inspire me to get on stage. This fun filled film about an unapologetic fabulous plus size queer influencer and his crazy friend searching for a special lipstick is pure genius. My intentions were to mix my love of reality tv, film, and social media. I created an enjoyable piece of art that brings joy to a journey of living in an unique world. Something that will live in your mind rent free for many years. Welcome to Law’s World!
