In a Chinatown slum, Thao discovers her grandmother, beaten to death and robbed of her collection of gold jewelry. Thao’s desire for street justice is supported by their femme peers all stuck in a similar situation, poor in privilege, but rich in companionship.

Thao's crew works together, battling to end petty crime and the murder of their elders, finding a new sense of peace and purpose in their communities.
