Poorna, a 10-year-old girl in suburban Mumbai wakes up to her routine morning. As the day progresses with a school outing, she visits an old hill and an old age home. It becomes a day spent in ‘Mono no Aware’ a Buddhist word for ‘watching the passing’. Poorna is becoming aware of the passage of time and is sensitive to new changes in her life like her grandmother moving into a retirement home. This is day that also help Poorna process these changes and reconnect with her grandmother.
