SYNOPSIS: A team from Inrap and the Departmental Archaeology Service of Indre-et-Loire (Sadil) excavated two sites in the municipalities of Monts and Sorigny. The investigations uncovered a vast enclosure and monumental buildings measuring over 200 m², typical of Gallic elites. The discovery of numerous ceramics, amphorae, and around sixty coins confirms the high status of this settlement, where a rather unusual burial was also uncovered inside one of the buildings.
