Experience Pablo Picasso's imaginative world through a performance at the ancient Teatro Grande in Pompeii, staged under the open sky. These two ballet performances bring to life the legendary, avant-garde masterpieces from the early 1900s, revived by the Corps de Ballet of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

Commissioned by the director of the famous Ballets Russes, the production brings Picasso’s revolutionary designs to life with unforgettable choreography and iconic scores. A centerpiece of the evening is the stage curtain for “Parade,” the largest work the master ever completed.

Filmed against the atmospheric backdrop of Pompeii's volcanic ruins, the show beautifully captures how Picasso's exposure to Italian art altered the trajectory of 20th-century theater design. It stands as both a breathtaking homage to dance history and a vibrant fusion of fine art, music and dramatic storytelling.
