Thrills and some laughs co-exist in this spooky program. A terrified couple seeks the help of a paranormal medium in hopes of revealing the true intentions of their child's "imaginary friend." Transfixed by the smell of his victims, a stalker takes his obsession to the limit. A possessive doctor prepares an ostensibly romantic bath for his narcissistic boyfriend, but after an accusation of infidelity, things take a deeply disturbing turn. A queer black woman from South Carolina having her first child has remnants of her past begin to torment her via the old urban legend of the boo hag. Max catches up with his high-school bully 17 years later in a fancy restaurant where Max’s grudge against Adam begins to manifest in horrific ways.
Husbands Ethan and William are the faces of desperation as they work with Collette, a psychic medium, to find and banish a malevolent force from their home. Ethan’s patience is thin as he explains how their son, Grayson, was nearly suffocated to death by his own bedsheets. William, mediating, explains that the couple tried to rationalize their situation, but they are at their breaking point. Collette performs a séance where she enters “The Grey” – a world between here and the other side. Unfortunately, Collette is possessed by the entity and slams her head against the table ending the séance. The couple stands in horror as she falls to the floor. The two check under the table only to find their son hiding. Grayson has come to warn them that his “friend” is mad. The two try to comfort him as spindly hands reach down and smash Ethan and William’s heads together!
