Hear about how their families worked through the loss of a loved one without knowing the truth.

Over 2000 American soldiers boarded an overcrowded British transport ship with non-functioning lifeboats and inadequate lifebelts. The ship was sunk by one of the first radio-guided missiles ever used in WWII. The German attack killed 1,015 of the soldiers, marking the single greatest loss of life at sea in the history of U.S. warfare. Recently uncovered classified documents reveal that negligence and oversight significantly contributed to the high death toll. The U.S. government deflected responsibility by declaring the disaster classified indefinitely while ordering all survivors to remain silent. Families of the fallen soldiers were denied answers, and most went to their graves never knowing what happened; their boys just never came home.

After six years of full-time work on the film, it seems like a never-ending process. We came this far and I don’t want to slow down now with distribution. We're doing everything we can to raise the money to get the film out to a national audience and hopefully get the recognition for the Rohna attack that it deserves while honoring the forgotten soldiers. Thank you for all of your support over the years. The truth behind the Rohna disaster would have never come out without you! -Jack Ballo
