Lee Sana, a 34-year-old woman, is an intentional outsider who is making a living as a gig driver after she was dishonorably discharged from the military. Sana sets out on an adventure with her shaman younger sibling to meet a baby spirit, in order to change her fate (palja), into the spirit world where the ancestral gods are said to govern the Four Pillars of Destiny (sajupalja).
