My Dad is a Sausage
12-year-old Zoe used to live in an adventurous house, where her father told tales of fantastic science fiction, and where her brother, sister, and mother were all incredibly happy together. Since they moved everything has changed. Zoe is miserable at school, and her only outlet is art and the collage diary she keeps. When her dad suddenly, decides to quit his dull banking job and become an actor, the rest of the family thinks he’s just having a midlife crisis. Zoë is the only one who believes her dad is an amazing actor just waiting to be discovered. Together they attend acting classes and auditions. Zoe begins to miss quite a bit of school but learns about the importance of taking chances, how to build up her self-confidence and the path to knowing and trusting herself.
