SYNOPSIS:
We think of the Great Barrier Reef, the largest natural structure in the world, as an iconic tropical paradise, but it has a dark side. Archaeologists attempt to solve the mysterious sinking of Australia’s “Titanic”. The demise of an 18th Century British warship links the Reef to the infamous Mutiny on the Bounty. An ROV dives to the bottom of the reef revealing its violent birth and evolution. And we hear from indigenous peoples as they give their account on the reefs origins.
